for life's challenges
Jane has been assisting people to feel better and relieve pain
since 1987. Treatments are tailored to each individual
and may include one or more techniques. Jane's main practice
is in Acupuncture and Bowen Technique. Your treatments
may also include Acupressure (Jin Shin Jyutsu), Flower Essences, Herbs,
Massage, Krieger-Kunz Therapeutic Touch, Plant Spirit Medicine or NAET
Allergy Work.
The goal is to establish a healing relationship focused on restoring
balance and promoting health. Addressing
the underlying cause of your discomfort can bring deep lasting results.
While symptoms are often relieved within a short
time, restoring and maintaining natural balance
is a lifelong activity.
The frequency of treatments will be based on your health goals.
For well-being and stress relief 2 to 5 times a year is very beneficial.
An acute condition, such as a cold or recent injury, often improves
with one visit. Chronic problems require more attention; five to twelve
progressive treatments are the average required. Many
people continue to see Jane over the years, coming for seasonal "tune-ups"
and whenever they need extra care.
Are there any side effects? One of the great benefits of treatment
is the absence of side effects. On occasion there may be a healing crisis,
usually in the first 24 hours. Most patients report a deep sense of
relaxation and well-being. After the session you are encouraged to relax,
avoid strenuous activity and not eat a heavy meal. Drinking water and
taking gentle walks will help integrate the treatment.
